Brendan Fraser recibió su primera nominación en los Oscar y es algo que a todos nos encanta

El actor estadounidense Brendan Fraser fue nominado como ‘Mejor Actor’ en los Oscar; su primera nominación en esta gala en sus más de 20 años de experiencia actoral. Y sí, a todos nos alegra.

Su nominación se da por su papel en ‘The Whale’, una película que marcó su regreso al séptimo arte, luego de ausentarse unos años por los abusos que sufrió por parte de Philip Berk, expresidente de la Asociación de Prensa Extranjera de Hollywood.

Por su papel Brendan Fraser ya había sido nominado a los Golden Globes pero el actor se negó a asistir al evento. Berk fue quien dirigió por mucho tiempo esta ceremonia.

En cambio con los Critics Choice Award ocurrió algo muy diferente. Cuando Brendan ganó como mejor actor, el artista recibió el premio y dio un emotivo discurso de gratitud y aceptación.

«Estaba en el desierto. Probablemente dejé un rastro de migas de pan. Pero me encontraste. Y como todos los mejores directores, simplemente me mostraste a dónde ir para llegar a donde necesitaba estar», le dijo entre lágrimas a Aronofsky. «Si sientes que estás en un mar oscuro, quiero que sepas que si tienes la fuerza para ponerte de pie e ir hacia la luz, sucederán cosas buenas. Gracias. Buenas noches».

Hoy Brendan Fraser fue anunciado en la lista de nominados a los premios Oscar. Es la primera vez que ocurre y sin duda su presencia será una de las más esperadas de la ceremonia.
